This Privacy Policy describes how Real Reels ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Andres Rodriguez-Story, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit realreelsacademy.com or interact with our services.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

• Name and email address (submitted via our application quiz)
• Social media handles and content links (submitted via our application quiz)
• Information about your business, goals, and content (submitted via our application quiz)
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe and Cal.com — we do not store card details)

We also collect limited technical data automatically, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs, via standard web analytics tools.

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your application and schedule your Gold Vein Session
• To build your brand wiki and prepare for your strategy call
• To send service-related communications (confirmations, updates)
• To improve our website and services

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Email Communications

By submitting your email through our quiz, you may receive follow-up emails related to your application or session. You can opt out at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or contacting us directly.

Meta and Instagram Data

What we access: With explicit authorization from our clients, we access the following data from Instagram Business and Creator accounts via the Meta Graph API:

• Instagram account profile information (username, follower count, bio, profile picture)
• Instagram media (posts, reels, videos) — captions, thumbnails, timestamps, like counts, comment counts
• Per-post performance insights: impressions, reach, plays, and saves
• Account-level insights: daily reach, impressions, profile views, and follower growth over a 30-day window
• Audience demographics: gender/age breakdown, top cities, and top countries (aggregated — not individual user data)
• Facebook Page data linked to the Instagram account: fan count, page impressions, and page reach

Why we access it: This data is used exclusively to populate an internal analytics dashboard that Real Reels and its clients use to track social media performance. The dashboard helps our team and our clients understand what content is working, identify top-performing posts, and make informed content decisions.

Who can see it: Instagram and Facebook data is accessible only to:

• Real Reels team members (Andres Rodriguez-Story and authorized editors)
• The specific client whose account data is being displayed

Per-client data is strictly isolated. Client A cannot see Client B's data. We use row-level security in our database to enforce this.

What we do NOT do with this data:

• We do not sell, license, or share Instagram or Facebook data with any third party
• We do not use the data for advertising, targeting, or any purpose other than the analytics dashboard described above
• We do not store individual follower data or any personally identifiable information about a client's Instagram followers
• We do not post, comment, like, or take any action on Instagram accounts on behalf of anyone

Data retention: We do not persistently store raw Instagram or Facebook API responses. Data is fetched live from the Meta Graph API on each dashboard request and displayed in memory. No Instagram or Facebook data is written to our database.

Permissions used: Our application requests the following Meta permissions:

• instagram_basic — read profile and media information
• instagram_manage_insights — read per-post and account-level analytics
• pages_show_list — identify the Facebook Page linked to an Instagram account
• pages_read_engagement — read Facebook Page engagement metrics

These permissions are used solely as described above. We comply fully with Meta's Platform Policy and Meta's Terms of Service.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data under their own privacy policies:

• Meta (Facebook / Instagram) Graph API — social media analytics (read-only)
• Supabase — authentication and secure data storage
• Stripe — payment processing
• Cal.com — session booking
• Google Sheets (Apps Script) — application data logging
• Vercel — website hosting

Cookies

We use minimal cookies for session persistence (e.g., quiz progress, dashboard login). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not function as expected.

Data Retention

We retain your application data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services or as required by law. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
